This was for a graduate illustration techniques class. The assignment was to illustrate an old article about Mad Cow disease. Watercolor and gouache with a aging and crackle varnish. Pardon the glare.

This is an illustration that I made as a “thank you” to one of my mentors.
Another one of my re-interpretations of the Steven Meisel spread in Vogue’s October 92 issue. As an aside, I hope those slip dresses never make a comeback–the only thing more difficult to pull of are those stupid short shorts that everybody still wears. Nope, you don’t look good in the short shorts–at best, you look like you are wearing an odd diaper.
